Detroit Airport Information:

We provide service to Detroit's main airport, Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). DTW has three terminals, the McNamara Terminal, Berry Terminal and the Smith Terminal. For customers exiting through the McNamara Terminal your driver should be waiting near Doorway #4 at the baggage claim level for domestic arrivals, and directly outside of the security door at the international arrivals level for international arrivals. For the Smith Terminal, drivers wait by the baggage claim area. In either area, the limo driver must be wearing the terminal access identification pass at all times. If being picked up at DTW's Westin Hotel, a designated meeting area must be agreed upon beforehand; there is no official pick-up zone.

Detroit Conventions and Commerce:

Detroit's Convention Center is the COBO Conference/Exhibition Center (One Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226 :: 313.877.8777 or 313.877-8111). Detroit is home to the Big Three automotive companies: General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company and Chrysler. Other Fortune 500 companies headquartered in Detroit include American Axle & Manufacturing, Comerica and DTE Energy.

Your Safety as a Detroit Limousine Passenger:

Before booking limousine service in Detroit, be sure you are dealing with a fully licensed and insured limo company. At DTW, drivers must wear a terminal access identification pass at all times. Companies providing airport pick-up at DTW must also have their driver complete a Wayne County Airport Authority (WCAA) Manifest, provide their vehicle operator's license, and check in with a WCAA Landside Agent. The WCAA manifest must also contain the reserved/pre-arranged customer's flight number. Note that whatever DTW limousine or car service provider you choose must comply with these regulations. And because all limousine companies must have a pre-arranged customer in order to be on the airport premises, if you are solicited by a limousine driver or company at the airport, they are not licensed to be there. For general information, please also see our list of federally regulated minimum requirements for limousine operators to understand national laws regarding your safety as a limousine passenger.

Your Legal Rights as a Detroit Limousine Passenger:

Find out at the start about all charges related to your particular limousine service with whatever company you choose. Some common charges to expect are tolls, airport fees, regulatory fees, travel time, holiday surcharges, fuel surcharges, and courtesy cell phone usage charges. But regardless of how standard a charge, all charges and fees should be stated clearly up front and must apply to the limousine service for which you are paying. Asking up front allows you to avoid companies who charge hidden fees, or attempt to tack on vague extra charges at the end of your service.
